Gordie, I got your back, I agree with you, rock and roll is about edginess, not smarminess. Bowie is only good at the edge. (though I don't like the beauty and the beast thing either). But you do know Gordo that in some countries things that are rancid are considered delicacies. Several French dishes come to mind.
